Job summary

Caring Kindergartens Ltd is seeking staff with a Level 3 childcare qualification to join our supportive nursery team in the UK. You will observe and record progress, plan a variety of play activities, and work as a key worker to help each child progress within the EYFS framework.

We value strong communication, safeguarding awareness and reflective practice to provide a safe, caring environment for children and families. DBS clearance is required to work with our learners.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent English language (spoken and written).
• Safeguarding practices knowledge.
• Experience in an early years setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and act as key worker for a group of children, observing, recording and assessing progress with observations and photos.
• Develop high quality interactions with children to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan, prepare and deliver a wide range of play experiences promoting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Ensure activities draw from children's next steps, observations and interests per EYFS.
• Support each child in developing self-esteem, confidence and competence.
• Provide a positive model of behaviour with children, families and colleagues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current issues through training and workshops.
• Adhere to hygiene standards per Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive nursery team.
