Job summary

Harvington C of E First & Nursery School is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant with Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications. The role supports the nursery aged 2 years 9 months to 4 years, leading a keyworker group and assisting with planning and assessment.

This is a 30-hour week position, Monday to Friday, during term time, with a DBS requirement. The successful candidate will contribute to outstanding learning opportunities and be committed to the school’s ethos of friendship, truthfulness,

Qualifications

• Have an Early Years Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
• Understand safeguarding practices and welfare of children.
• Recent experience in an Early Years setting.
• Be friendly and relate warmly to children.
• Be a team player committed to professional development.
• Support the Christian ethos of the school.

Responsibilities

• Lead a keyworker group.
• Support planning and assessment.
