Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification to join a welcoming primary school in Harrow from September.

You will work with the EYFS team to deliver creative learning activities, monitor young children's progress, and support their social and emotional development while maintaining high safeguarding standards. This role offers valuable experience within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification.
• Experience in EYFS or primary setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support learning through play, exploration and practical activities.
• Observe progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Provide individual and small-group support to develop communication, social, emotional, physical and academic skills.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Support personal care and day-to-day needs where required.
• Contribute to the wider school community and school events.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.
