Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing Holyrood Shaw Nursery. Full- or part-time hours offer flexibility for dedicated nursery staff.

Ideal candidates have Level 3 EYFS credentials, strong teamwork and communication, and a caring, proactive attitude to help children have an excellent start in life.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience as Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse preferred.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Observe, assess, and track children’s progress.
• Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding childcare.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment.
• Continue your professional development as an Early Years Practitioner.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Holyrood Shaw, Oldham. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking childcare setting.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child has the best start in life.
