Job summary

N Family Club is seeking an Development Nursery Manager to drive leadership and quality across our nursery network in Shoreditch and beyond. You will mentor teams, embed our curriculum, and ensure compliance with EYFS and Ofsted standards.

Qualifications

• Must-have Level 3+ Early Years qualification and Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Proven experience as Nursery Manager or senior leader in a high-performing setting.
• Experience leading nurseries requiring targeted improvement or development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted leadership and support to nurseries on a development journey, working with Nursery Manager and senior teams to raise standards.
• Step in as 'Manager in Charge' to maintain operational stability and uphold high standards.
• Embed the N Pedagogy and Curriculum to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.
• Lead self-evaluation and action planning with guidance from Education Advisor and inspections.
• Promote a strong 'Safety First' culture with health and safety checks and risk assessments.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required and ensure robust safeguarding.
• Coach and develop nursery teams to build confidence and professional pride.
• Support recruitment, retention and professional development across sites.
• Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
• Participate in development meetings and monitor nursery performance for improvements.
• Collaborate with Development Team on focused improvement initiatives for sustainable impact.
• Provide flexible support across multiple nurseries; travel across the network as needed.
