Job summary

N Family Club is a UK early-years education provider hiring a Development Nursery Manager. You will lead nurseries, embed pedagogy, ensure safeguarding, and drive improvements across sites. The role involves coaching leaders, supporting recruitment, and building community partnerships.

Travel between nurseries is required, with flexible 4–5 day weeks and opportunities for professional growth within the N Family Club. A strong EYFS knowledge base and leadership background are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years qualification is required.
• Paediatric First Aid certification (12 hours) required.
• Experience as Nursery Manager or senior leader in a Good/Outstanding nursery.
• Experience leading nurseries on targeted improvement initiatives.
• Strong EYFS and Ofsted knowledge to ensure compliance.
• Experience across multiple nursery sites is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted leadership and support to nurseries on development journeys.
• Step in as Manager in Charge to maintain operational stability and high standards.
• Embed N Pedagogy and Curriculum to drive teaching and learning.
• Lead self-evaluation and action planning with Education Advisor guidance.
• Promote Safety First and ensure daily checks and risk assessments are completed.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required.
• Coach, mentor and develop nursery teams.
• Support recruitment, retention and professional development.
• Build relationships with parents and the wider community.
• Participate in regular development meetings and cross-team reviews.
• Collaborate with Development Team on improvement initiatives.
• Provide flexible support across nurseries and travel as needed.
