Job summary

This lovely Nursery in cental Woking are looking for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager, supernumerary, to support and work alongside the manager in the day to day running of this large and busy nursery. Onsite parking, great transport links.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hrs this role is offering a salary is up to £35k depending on experience and qualifications, together with great benefits with this growing provider

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices.
• Experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting.

Responsibilities

• Support and work alongside the nursery manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Lead or support a team in a nursery setting and supervise staff to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and maintain safeguarding and EYFS standards.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role

A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)

A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting

Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager

Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices

Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting

Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting

Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting

Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team
