Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager (supernumerary) to support the manager in the day-to-day running of a large busy nursery in the Watford area. The role is 40 hours with a salary up to £35k depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification and at least 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery, with strong EYFS and Ofsted knowledge and a focus

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting
• Experience in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
• Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
