Job summary

Partou Sunny Days Nursery & Pre-school in Ellesmere Port is seeking a dedicated nursery practitioner to join as Nursery Deputy Manager on a full-time basis. The role supports the Nursery Manager and Senior Deputy Manager to ensure smooth operation and high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS.

You will lead a team, nurture children’s learning, safeguard policies, and develop strong partnerships with families while promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

• Strong EYFS knowledge.
• Proven experience leading a team in an early years setting.
• Passion for early years education.
• Confidence in supporting children's learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to support the Nursery Manager and Senior Deputy in running the setting.
• Ensure children engage in stimulating activities that support learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

About the Role

Partou Sunny Days Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a dedicated and passionate nursery practitioner to take on the full-time 40 hours per week role of Nursery Deputy Manager to help support their Nursery Manager and Senior Nursery Deputy Manager in the smooth running of the setting. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

You willlead and inspire your team, maintain asafe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families.
