Job summary

Aldermoor Farm Primary School in Coventry is seeking a Class Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching across the primary age range. You will build creative, engaging lessons and monitor pupil progress to raise standards.

Experience:

The Class Teachershould have experience of teaching, which may include experience of workingwith children with a range of needs

In addition, theClass Teacher might have experience of:

Teaching across thewhole Primary age range

Working inpartnership with parents/carers

Knowledge and understanding

Knowledge andunderstanding of the ability to think creatively across the whole curriculum.

Provide support forthe individual needs of all the children (e.g. classroom organisation andlearning strategies).

Understanding of the Statutory National Curriculum developmentand the processes that can be used to raise standards of achievement.

Monitoring,assessment, recording and reporting of pupils' progress.

The statutoryrequirements of legislation concerning Equal Opportunities, Health andSafety, SEN and Child Protection.

Positive linksnecessary within school and with all its stakeholders.

Effective teachingand learning styles and confident use of ICT to support learning.

In addition, theClass Teacher might also have knowledge and understanding of the specificneeds of pupils with ASD
