Layton Primary School in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified teacher to join our primary teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, plan and assess pupil progress, and contribute to a safe and effective learning environment.

The role requires current QTS or equivalent, recent professional development, and experience in primary education.

• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Evidence of recent professional development in curriculum delivery.
• Recent experience teaching in a primary or teacher training setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and how to implement it in class.
• Experience using strategies to raise pupil attainment and monitor progress.
• Ability to assess and report on pupil development, progress and attainment.
• Awareness of health and safety in the workplace and compliant practice.
• Engagement in INSET/training and ongoing professional development.
• Training in varied teaching and learning strategies and methods.
• Experience in planning classroom activities and lessons according to procedures.
• Experience with target setting to support attainment and assessment principles.
• Familiarity with a range of teaching styles and approaches.
