The Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Cook to join our team. This is a key role where you’ll ensure children are provided with balanced meals and snacks that meet dietary needs.
You will:
Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals and snacks for children across the nursery.
Cater for all dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences.
Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
Keep accurate kitchen records, stock checks, and temperature logs.
Work closely with the Nursery Manager to create seasonal menus that are healthy, appealing, and fun for children.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Food Hygiene certificate (Level 2 or higher).
Previous experience in catering, ideally in a childcare, school, or care setting.
Knowledge of allergens and safe food storage.
Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
A genuine passion for children’s health and nutrition.
