Job summary

PRS is seeking an experienced Nursery Chef to join a busy nursery setting on a permanent basis. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for up to 60 children in a busy kitchen with an assistant available from 9am-2pm.

Hours are 7:30am-5:30pm, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Salary is £35,000 per year, with 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. There is potential for extra pay for supporting special events throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Professional chef with proven experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Understanding of health & safety requirements.
• Good understanding of allergen management.
• Experience catering for children is desirable.
