Job summary

PRS LTD in Greater London is seeking an experienced Nursery Chef to join a busy nursery setting on a permanent basis. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for up to 60 children, with an assistant available from 9am–2pm.

The role runs 7:30am–5:30pm, totaling 40 hours per week. The position requires professional chef experience, strong knowledge of food safety and allergens, and a solid understanding of health and safety.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a busy nursery setting on a permanent basis.

Salary: £35,000 per year
Hours: 7:30am–5:30pm, 40 hours per week
Working year: 52 weeks
Holiday: 23 days + bank holidays

The Chef will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious meals for up to 60 children, with an assistant available from 9am–2pm.

Requirements:

• Previous professional chef experience
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Understanding of health & safety requirements
• Strong knowledge of allergens and allergen management
• Experience catering for children is desirable

There is also the opportunity for additional payment for supporting special events throughout the year.
