Job summary

Grandir UK Limited's Pippa's House Nursery in Ash Vale, near Aldershot, seeks a caring Early Years Assistant to join our team. You will care for and support children, encourage curiosity and help them thrive each day, while adhering to policies and safeguarding standards.

The role offers 30 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9am-3pm) with a pay rate up to £12.71 per hour and regular pay reviews, plus a strong benefits package including generous annual leave, pension and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to care for and nurture young children.
• Willingness to follow EYFS guidelines.
• Supportive, enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure Grandir UK values are maintained.
• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Prepare and supervise activities under guidance of Level 3 Practitioners.
• Read, understand and implement company policies and procedures.
• Attend regular staff meetings and training as required.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for children, parents and colleagues.

Our Pippa's House Day Nursery in Ash Vale is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Hours: (Mon-Fri) 9am-3pm = 30 hours per week

What will you be doing

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
• Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
• Supervise and support children at all times
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
• Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
