Grandir UK is seeking a caring Early Years Assistant for Pippa's House Day Nursery in Esher. You will support children's development and thrive in a child-centered environment, participating in daily routines and activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in early years is beneficial.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow nursery policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure Grandir UK values are maintained.
• Ensure equality of access and opportunity for staff, parents and children.
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment.
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 Practitioners.
• Read, understand and implement all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure policies and practices are adhered to within required timescales.
• Ensure the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Notify line manager of concerns regarding policies and practices.
• Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors and colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality where appropriate.
• Attend regular staff and planning meetings and undertake training.

What will you be doing
