Job summary

Pippa's House Day Nursery in Ash Vale, part of Grandir UK, is hiring an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to care for and inspire children aged 0-5. You will support play, contribute to a safe, development-focused environment, and collaborate with a welcoming team.

The role offers a salary of £26,666-£28,288 per annum, up to 45 hours per week, with strong benefits including 33 days leave, pension, and wellbeing support. Applicants should be compassionate and committed to EYFS standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
