Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant (Casual Worker) for Pippa's House Day Nursery in Reigate. You will help care for and support children, promoting curiosity and a positive learning environment, under the guidance of qualified Practitioners.

What will you be doing

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
• Ensure thatequalityof access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
• Contribute to maintaining anattractive and welcoming environment
• Prepare and supervise activitiesunder the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
• Read, understand and implement allcompany policies, proceduresand operational practices
• Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices areadheredto within the required timescale
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of theEarly Years Foundation stage
• Notify your line manager of anyconcerns or issuesregarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain apositive attitudeat all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
• Ensureconfidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
• Attend regularstaff meetings, planning meetingsandundertake trainingas required
