Job summary

Grandir UK Limited's Kiddi Caru Day Nursery on Coronation Road in Bristol is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification is preferred.
• Safeguarding and paediatric first aid training are valued.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery.
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties.
• Deploy staff to ensure required standards are delivered in the rooms.
• Ensure nursery keycarer procedures are followed and children allocated to keycarers.

At Kiddi Caru Coronation Road, we follow a play - based, child - centred Early Years curriculum that supports each stage of development from babies to preschoolers. Our passionate and experienced team are committed to providing high - quality early years education. With Level 3 qualified practitioners trained in safeguarding, paediatric first aid and food hygiene, we deliver attentive, nurturing care tailored to every child’s needs.

What will you be doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practiceand provision in the nurserymeets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staffEnsure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
