Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Nursery Assistants for Wakefield and surrounding areas. Immediate start for a caring and enthusiastic candidate with childcare experience, ready to support children across the nursery through daily routines and play-based learning.

Qualifications

The nurturing settingings are committed to providing safe, stimulating and engaging environments where children can learn, play and thrive through high quality early years education.

We are looking to appoint Nursery Assistants on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across the nursery's assisting with daily routines, encouraging learning through play and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for every child.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A minimum of six months' experience working within a childcare setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• A willingness to support across different age groups where required
