TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming nurseries across Manchester, ranging from friendly independent settings to well-established nursery groups. These nurturing environments are passionate about learning through play, creating exciting, stimulating experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence while supporting every child to reach their full potential.

The nurseries are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join their teams on a temporary basis, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be a positive role model who helps children feel safe, valued and eager to learn. You will confidently manage small groups, encourage positive behaviour, and create engaging play-based activities that develop children's communication, social, cognitive and motor skills. SEND experience is desirable but not essential, as full support and guidance will be provided for the rightNursery Assistant with the right attitude and passion.

We will provide you with a dedicated on-boarding process and likely short-term contract after we've secured a new contract.

In order to provide high quality education, we require qualified teaching staff to be suitably funded with the latest industry certified courses. We provide staff with these courses but also expected our teachers to be aware of the school's on-going needs and culture.

The successfulNursery Assistant will have:
