Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for a welcoming private day nursery in Scunthorpe. The role is part-time with an immediate start, supporting children across age groups, helping with play, routines and overall wellbeing throughout the nursery day.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS knowledge, previous nursery experience, strong communication and a flexible, patient attitude to support children’s development and learning in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery or Early Years environment.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Confidence in supporting children’s play, daily routines and learning activities.
• Good communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexible approach across different nursery age groups.
• Patient, enthusiastic and caring attitude.

Responsibilities

Salary: £14.25 - £14.75 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery in Scunthorpe. The setting supports children across a range of ages and is committed to providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can develop their confidence and independence.

The nursery is looking for a Nursery Assistant to join them on a part-time basis for an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will work across different age groups as required, supporting play and learning activities, daily routines and the general wellbeing of children throughout the nursery day.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Previous experience supporting children in a nursery or Early Years environment
• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Confidence supporting children's play, learning and daily routines
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A flexible approach to working across different nursery age groups
• A patient, enthusiastic and caring attitude
