Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for a private day nursery in Scunthorpe. This part-time role has an immediate start and involves supporting children across different age ranges with engaging activities in a safe, positive environment.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 2/3 in Early Years or equivalent and have EYFS knowledge, with experience in an Early Years setting. A positive, adaptable approach and commitment to learning are essential.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Scunthorpe. The nursery provides a welcoming environment for children across multiple age ranges, with a focus on supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a part‑time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support different age groups depending on the needs of the nursery, helping to provide engaging activities and a safe, positive environment for the children.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A positive ‘can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in
• The ability to adapt to the needs of different children and age groups
• A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
