Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for a welcoming private day nursery in Scunthorpe. The role is part-time with an immediate start, supporting children across age groups, helping with play, routines and overall wellbeing throughout the nursery day.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS knowledge, previous nursery experience, strong communication and a flexible, patient attitude to support children’s development and learning in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery or Early Years environment.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Confidence in supporting children’s play, daily routines and learning activities.
• Good communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexible approach across different nursery age groups.
• Patient, enthusiastic and caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support play and learning activities across age groups.
• Assist with daily routines and child wellbeing throughout the day.
• Work across different age groups as required.
• Contribute to a safe, stimulating nursery environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding and daily care.
