Job summary

TeacherActive is looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to work on a short-term temporary basis in Rochester, with an immediate start. The role pays £13-£14 per hour and involves supporting children's daily routines and learning through play.

Experience in a nursery or early years setting is valued; a Level 2/3 childcare qualification is desirable but not essential. DBS/compliance and a supportive onboarding process are provided through TeacherActive.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience working within a nursery, early years or similar childcare setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is desirable
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child development

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Nurse on a short-term temporary basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Nursery Nurse will work alongside the nursery team to support children's daily routines, encourage learning through play and maintain a safe and stimulating environment, with relevant childcare experience valued over formal qualifications.

Qualifications:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
