TeacherActive is working with a private 80-place day nursery in Hull and seeks a Nursery Assistant to support children with daily routines, learning and development within the EYFS framework. The role offers full-time and part-time options in a welcoming setting.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2/3 childcare qualification (desirable) and prior nursery experience, with a focus on creating a safe, stimulating environment and strong teamwork.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a beautiful 80-place private day nursery in a stunning location in Hull. This welcoming setting provides an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Assistant to support children in a positive and engaging early years environment.

The nursery is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Assistant to provide day-to-day cover, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children with their daily routines, learning and development, while helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years desirable but not essential
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible, reliable and positive 'can-do' attitude
