Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for a private day nursery in Keighley to join a supportive team. The role is full-time and permanent with an immediate start, focusing on helping children learn and develop in line with the EYFS framework.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2/3 Childcare or Early Years qualifications, prior nursery experience, a good EYFS understanding, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years is desirable.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable.
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Keighley, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Assistant. The nursery offers a supportive team environment where staff can develop their skills, build confidence and work together to provide a positive learning experience for young children.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children's learning and development through engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, while helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years is desirable


• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable


• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework


• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team


• A positive, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn, develop new skills and progress within Early Years
