TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting Nursery Assistants to support children across private day nurseries in Halifax and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily routines, learning through play and help create a welcoming, inclusive environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months' experience in childcare.

• Willing to support across different age groups and settings.
• Flexible and reliable with day-to-day supply work.

The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across different nursery rooms, assisting with daily routines, encouraging learning through play and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for every child.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A minimum of six months' experience working within a childcare setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• A willingness to support across different age groups and nursery settings where required
• A flexible and reliable approach to day-to-day supply work
