TeacherActive Ltd. is recruiting Nursery Assistants to support children aged 0-5 across Neath Port Talbot on a flexible supply basis. Nurseries require caring, patient staff who can assist with daily routines, activities and development in a warm environment.

The role offers part-time or full-time hours, with DBS checks and ongoing consultant support to guide onboarding and placements across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Childcare qualification desirable
• Experience in nursery or early years settings
• Good understanding of child development and best practice
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to get involved and support children's development

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of nurseries across Neath Port Talbot who are looking to recruit dedicated Nursery Assistants on a supply basis. These nurseries provide safe, engaging and stimulating environments for children aged 0-5 years, with a strong focus on encouraging social, emotional and educational development through play-based learning.

The nurseries are looking for flexible Nursery Assistants to work on both full-time and part-time hours depending on availability. The successful Nursery Assistant will support daily childcare routines, assist with educational activities, help maintain a safe and hygienic environment and work closely with senior staff to monitor children's progress and wellbeing.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable
• Experience supporting children within nursery or early years settings
• Good understanding of child development and early years best practice
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A willingness to get involved and support children's development
