Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant to work on a day-to-day cover basis in Frome, supporting nursery and pre-school children. This is a great entry point into the Early Years sector with hands-on experience and play-based learning.

You will help children learn through play, engage with age-appropriate activities, and contribute to a caring, supportive environment. Immediate start and competitive pay are on offer.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day cover across nursery and pre-school groups in Frome and Somerset.

We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to work on a day-to-day cover basis, supporting children across nursery and pre-school age groups. This is also a great opportunity for people looking to get into the Early Years sector and gain hands-on experience, supporting children's development through play, engagement and age-appropriate activities.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A relevant Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• An interest in developing a career within the Early Years sector
• The ability to engage children through play and activities
• A caring and positive approach
• Adaptability and a willingness to get stuck in
