Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a Nursery Assistant to support children across nursery and pre-school settings in South Gloucestershire. Immediate start and flexible day-to-day work provide hands-on experience while you study for a BEd or related qualification.

You will help children learn through play and engaging activities, bringing a caring and positive attitude. Prior experience is helpful but not required, with CPD opportunities available through the agency.

Qualifications

• Be currently studying towards a BEd or relevant education qualification
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• An interest in gaining practical Early Years experience
• The ability to engage children through play and activities
• A caring and positive approach
• Adaptability and a willingness to get stuck in

Responsibilities

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour

We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis, supporting children across nursery and pre-school age groups. This is a great opportunity for BEd students looking to gain hands-on experience alongside their studies, supporting children’s development through play, engagement and age-appropriate activities.
