Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions is seeking a passionate Senior Area Manager to support up to 11 nurseries in Southampton and surrounding areas. You will lead quality, curriculum and outstanding practice alongside managers, driving improvements.

Required are Level 3 Early Years/Childcare, 6+ years in EY with 2+ years in management across multiple settings, plus experience with Ofsted and EYFS. Must hold a valid car license. 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years in a management or team-leading role, and at least 1 year as supporting and leading across multiple settings.
• Experience leading Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Car Driver

Our clients are now looking for a passionate and experienced regional / quality role manager to support up to 11 settings in the Southampton and surrounding areas, you will need to be an experienced senior manager, who has experience in a similar role, supporting the quality, curriculum, Ofsted and outstanding practice within nurseries working alongside the managers and their teams. Based on a 40 hr week, salary is upwards of c£52k plus - depending on experience, together with £5k car allowance, 27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and lots of other goodies with this growing Provider.

You will need to have experience of multi - site setting support, a car driver, and passionate about supporting the team in the growth of the Nursery Group.
