Job summary
JEM Childcare Solutions in Peterborough is seeking a Senior Nursery / Area Manager to support multiple settings across Peterborough and surrounding areas. You will lead and develop Nursery Managers, ensuring high quality care, safeguarding, curriculum delivery, and compliance, while supporting Ofsted inspections.
The role requires multi-site management experience, a driver’s license, strong EYFS knowledge, and budgeting acumen.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years in early years, including 2 years in a management or team-leading role
- At least 1 year leading across multiple settings
- Experience delivering Ofsted inspections
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and health & safety practices
- Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy and budgets
- Car driver required
Responsibilities
- Support and develop Nursery Managers across Peterborough and surrounding areas
- Focus on quality, safeguarding, curriculum and compliance
- Support in Ofsted inspections and readiness
- Lead multi-site operations and drive improvements
- Build strong relationships with families and staff
