Responsibilities and Requirements
- Work towards achieving a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Learn all aspects of the Early Years Practitioner role with support from an experienced mentor.
- Support children to learn, play and develop through engaging activities.
- Observe children's learning and contribute to their development records.
- Assist with creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing nursery environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Learn about safeguarding, health and safety, and child development.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team.
- Develop your confidence, skills and knowledge through structured learning and practical experience.
- Demonstrate Kindred's values in everything you do.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- A commitment to completing an Early Years apprenticeship.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
Desirable
- Previous experience with children (although full training will be provided).
- A basic understanding of Early Years or childcare.
