Job summary

Kindred Nurseries is offering an Early Years Apprenticeship where you will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience, nationally recognised qualifications and mentoring support. You will work toward Level 2/3 EY qualifications, develop core teaching skills and build strong relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Commitment to completing an Early Years apprenticeship.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
  • Previous experience with children (training provided).
  • Basic understanding of Early Years or childcare (Desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Work towards achieving a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Learn all aspects of the Early Years Practitioner role with support from a mentor.
  • Support children to learn, play and develop through engaging activities.
  • Observe children’s learning and contribute to development records.
  • Assist with creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing nursery environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Learn safeguarding, health and safety, and child development.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a nursery team.
  • Develop confidence, skills and knowledge through structured learning and practical experience.
