Position: Unit Manager (RMN, RNLD)
Care home: Hylton Grange
Location: 1 Poole Road, Sunderland, SR4 0HG
Contract type: Full time, up to 48 hours per week
Rate: £21.49 per hour

About the role

As a Unit Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of clinical care delivery for your designated unit. Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading your unit’s care and nursing teams to meet the medical, physical, and emotional needs of residents.
2. Providing strong leadership to develop high standards of care and drive improvement.
3. Overseeing and managing all clinical elements and risks on your unit.
4. Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are completed, reviewed, and reflect appropriate interventions.
5. Acting as the Named Nurse for residents, overseeing, reviewing, and updating their care profiles.
6. Supervising and managing medication handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal.
