Job description

Area Support Manager (ASM) 9 months FTC

Location – Remote with extensive travel covering the East of England

We are looking for anArea Support Managerto join us in our mission and support the Area Director to support practices to deliver excellent clinical quality, client care and commercial performance. This role is pivotal in supporting our practices, embedding our values and company culture to retain and engage the best talent in the veterinary profession.

Day to day, the Area Support Manager will be involved in:

  • Developing close working relationships with practices and their leaders.
  • Troubleshooting within the Area - Where issues arise support a resolution wherever possible to ensure the wellbeing of our teams is maintained.
  • Support the integration of acquisitions into the Area, including onboarding staff.
  • Work with the AD to identify better ways of working that improve team wellbeing.
  • Support the Area Director with strategic planning
  • Organise Area meetings, prepare & distribute agendas, meeting materials & minutes and ensure actions points have been completed.

Ideally, the Area Support Manager will have:

  • Knowledge of the Veterinary industry given the short term nature of this role
  • Leadership and coaching, mentoring and supporting skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Multi-site experience.
  • A broad healthcare knowledge – desirable.
  • Well-developed demonstratable E.I. skills.
  • The Ability to prioritise and plan own time.
  • The Ability to understand and analyse key financial KPI's.
  • Must hold a full and valid driving licence.
