NHS GGC is seeking to appoint a Band 7 Nurse Team Leader for the Paediatric Continence Service. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of Nurse Specialists in delivering streamlined care to children and young people with continence issues, including night-time wetting and constipation.
Approximately 20% of your working week will involve hands-on clinical work within a designated area, arranged with your team leader. Your main responsibilities include providing holistic assessment, care, and support for referred patients.
We focus on service provision for continence in children and young people, emphasizing safety, professionalism, and evidence-based practice.
We seek an experienced nurse with knowledge of managing patients with continence issues. The ideal candidate will work autonomously and collaboratively across professional boundaries, engaging with acute and community care teams, allied health professionals, and senior management. Flexibility, workload prioritization, and focus in a busy environment are essential.
