Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Minor Injuries Unit at Victoria Central Health Centre, Wallasey. This full-time post (37.5 hours per week) is band 6 with a salary of £39,959–£48,117 per annum.

The role involves autonomous assessment and treatment of children and adults, education of staff, and leading clinical care in MIU. You will work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care

Competenze

Current registration with NMC.
Evidence of post registration development at Degree Level.
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development, relevant to MIU/WIC competences.
Non Medical Prescribing.

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of evidence based nursing & clinical care.
To provide expert advice and clinical practice.
To participate in the education and development of self and other staff.
To work collaboratively and co-operatively with clinical colleagues to develop services and quality of care delivered.
To autonomously assess, diagnose and treat children and adults who attend the Walk-in Centre with undifferentiated, undiagnosed conditions.
