Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a permanent Minor Injury clinician to assess, diagnose and treat patients autonomously within MIUs. The role includes leadership and mentoring duties, with participation in GP Out of Hours and a tailored development plan.

The post supports a shift pattern that includes weekends, bank holidays, and nights, with both full-time and part-time hours available. A Level 6/7 minor injury qualification and IRMER registration are required.

Qualifications

• Post-registration qualification in minor injury at Level 6 or 7.
• Mentorship qualification or equivalent.
• Registered General Nurse or allied health professional with IRMER registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients autonomously in MIUs.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to GP Out of Hours environment and learning.
• Develop clinical skills across minor injury pathways.
• Work shifts including weekends, bank holidays and nights.
