Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Cornwall seeks a Band 6 MIU Practitioner to provide a service for a diverse patient group daily. The role requires passion for minor injury care, strong communication, and commitment to high standards of care within a small team.

Applicants must have MIU/urgent care experience, IRMER qualification, and be prepared to support other MIUs within the Trust. Flexible working patterns may apply.

Qualificações

• Current professional registration - NMC, HCPC.
• Post-graduate specialist training to degree level in MIU, including minor injury.
• Ionising Radiation Regulations certificate (IRMER).
• Substantial post-registration practice in MIU, ED or similar; includes mentorship.
• Evidence of managing a team or service.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver effective assessment and treatment of patients using evidence-based approaches without supervision.
• Manage care needs, treatment, and evaluation of clinical interventions for MIU patients.
• Be responsible and accountable for patient care delivery in the unit.
