Chase Medical is assisting a well-established GP Practice near Ferryhill in County Durham to recruit an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their small, friendly team.

The role is 21 hours per week with a competitive salary up to £31.52 per hour. You will see and treat minor illnesses in the surgery and on home visits, with chances to contribute to Chronic Disease Management and mentoring.

Qualifications

• NMC Pin is required.
• Minor illness training or equivalent.
• Primary Care experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

A well-established GP Practice near to Ferryhill, are looking to welcome an experienced Nurse Practitioner into their small, friendly and close-knit team!

They require 21 hours per week, and are offering a competitive salary up to £31.52 per hour.

The practice are located within County Durham, not far from the town of Ferryhill.

As one of two Nurse Practitioners at the practice, you'll be expected to see and treat a variety of Minor ailments both within the surgery, and on home visits. Knowledge of some Chronic Disease Management would also be desirable, and candidates with experience of mentoring would be a bonus!

You’ll be working alongside another part‑time ANP, a Practice Nurse and an HCA (and they're currently growing the team further as well). The surgery prides itself on it's warm and welcoming environment and supportive team.
