Job summary

MAXIMUS is recruiting a Nurse Functional Assessor in Crewe to assess how a person\'s disability or health condition affects daily life. You will handle complex cases with support and mentorship, including formal training and ongoing development within a hybrid working model.

The role requires Registered Nurse (NMC) registration, a minimum of 1 year post-registration experience (adult or mental health), and eligibility to work in the UK. We offer training and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out clinical reviews and provide case managers with advice in relation to complaints and enquiries in connection with PIP referrals.
• Provide outcomes and feedback on all complaints about healthcare professionals for professional development and improvement.
• Use clinical expertise to assess how a person\u2019s disability or health condition affects their daily life.
• Work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders.
