Job summary

Maximus is recruiting a Nurse Functional Assessor in the UK to conduct clinical reviews and guide case managers on PIP referrals. The role covers complex cases across physical and mental health conditions with ongoing training and mentorship.

You will assess customers, provide outcomes to complaints, and contribute to professional development and service improvement within a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration is required.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• Right to work in the UK – sponsorship not available.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out clinical reviews and provide case managers with advice regarding complaints and enquiries related to PIP referrals.
• Provide outcomes and feedback on all complaints about healthcare professionals for professional development and business improvement.
• Assess customers and manage complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders.
