Maximus UK is seeking a Nurse Functional Assessor to support PIP referrals, using clinical expertise to assess how health conditions affect daily life and to provide feedback to case managers. The role involves handling complex cases and contributing to professional development through a tailored training programme.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• Right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders.
• Provide outcomes and feedback on complaints about healthcare professionals used for professional development and business improvements.
• Undergo tailored training and receive ongoing support and mentorship in the role.
