Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting a Nurse Educator on a 12-month contract to cover the North of England. The role is field-based, delivering CGM training to healthcare professionals and patients, in both group and 1:1 settings.

You will teach patients how to use CGM devices and apps, provide NHS-facing technical support on site and remotely, build strong professional relationships, and feed insights back via CRM training records. Some travel and occasional out-of-hours work are expected.

Qualifications

• Current or former UK Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience as Diabetes Specialist Nurse or similar role.
• Trained healthcare professionals and patients (group and 1:1).
• Good understanding of diabetes care and NHS operations.

Responsibilities

• Train healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes on CGM systems, one-to-one and in groups.
• Teach patients and carers how to use CGM systems and apps.
• Provide technical support and advice to NHS and patients on site and remotely.
• Build relationships with nurses, GPs, endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Support sales team with clinical knowledge when speaking with customers.
• Keep accurate training records in CRM and collect feedback to improve training.

Talentmark are recruiting for a Nurse Educator to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is field based covering North England area.

Salary:

£185 per day PAYE or £230 per day Umbrella/Ltd.

Nurse Educator Role:

• Train healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes on a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. This will be one-to-one and in groups.
• Teach patients and carers how to use the CGM system and its apps. Help them feel confident in managing their own care.
• Give technical support and advice to the NHS and patients, on site and remotely. Help fix any problems with the CGM system.
• Build good relationships with nurses, GPs, endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the sales team with clinical knowledge when they speak with customers.
• Keep accurate training records in the CRM system. Collect feedback to improve the training.

Your Background:

• You are a current or previously UK Registered Nurse (RN).
• You have worked as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse or in a similar role. A specialist diabetes qualification or lots of diabetes experience is also useful.
• You have trained healthcare professionals and patients, in groups and one to one.
• You understand diabetes care well, including medication, monitoring and lifestyle support. You also know how the NHS works in primary and secondary care.
• You are happy to travel regularly, including overnight stays, and to do some out of hours support.

It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
