Job summary

Talentmark is seeking a Diabetes Specialist Nurse to transition into the industry, delivering CGM training to clinicians and patients and offering hands-on clinical support.

You will teach patients and carers how to use CGM systems, respond to NHS inquiries, and travel for on-site and remote sessions, with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• UK RN with Diabetes Specialist Nurse experience or similar role.
• Experience training healthcare professionals and patients (group and 1:1).
• Strong understanding of diabetes care, medications, monitoring, and NHS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Train healthcare professionals and patients on CGM and apps, one-to-one and in groups.
• Provide technical support and advice to NHS and patients on-site and remotely.
• Build relationships with nurses, GPs, endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the sales team with clinical knowledge during customer interactions.
• Maintain training records and gather feedback for service improvements.

Are you a Diabetes Specialist Nurse or Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist looking for a move into industry?

• Train healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes on a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. This will be one-to-one and in groups.
• Teach patients and carers how to use the CGM system and its apps. Help them feel confident in managing their own care.
• Give technical support and advice to the NHS and patients, on site and remotely. Help fix any problems with the CGM system.
• Build good relationships with nurses, GPs, endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the sales team with clinical knowledge when they speak with customers.
• Keep accurate training records in the CRM system. Collect feedback to improve the training.

Your Background:

• You are a current or previously UK Registered Nurse (RN).
• You have worked as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse or in a similar role. A specialist diabetes qualification or lots of diabetes experience is also useful.
• You have trained healthcare professionals and patients, in groups and one to one.
• You understand diabetes care well, including medication, monitoring and lifestyle support. You also know how the NHS works in primary and secondary care.
• You are happy to travel regularly, including overnight stays, and to do some out of hours support.
