Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Train healthcare professionals and patients on CGM systems, both one-to-one and in groups.
• Teach patients and carers how to use CGM systems and apps.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and guidance to NHS patients and providers.
• Build and maintain relationships with nurses, GPs, endocrinologists and other health professionals.
• Support the sales team with clinical knowledge during customer conversations.
• Keep training records in the CRM system and collect feedback to improve training.

Talentmark are recruiting for a Nurse Educatorto join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is field based covering the South West England area.

Company:

Salary:

£185 per day PAYE or £230 per day Umbrella/Ltd.

Rates are dependant upon experience.

Nurse Educator Role:

• Train healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes on a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. This will be one-to-one and in groups.
• Teach patients and carers how to use the CGM system and its apps. Help them feel confident in managing their own care.
• Give technical support and advice to the NHS and patients, on site and remotely. Help fix any problems with the CGM system.
• Build good relationships with nurses, GPs, endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the sales team with clinical knowledge when they speak with customers.
• Keep accurate training records in the CRM system. Collect feedback to improve the training.

Your Background:

• You are a current or previously UK Registered Nurse (RN).
• You have worked as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse or in a similar role. A specialist diabetes qualification or lots of diabetes experience is also useful.
• You have trained healthcare professionals and patients, in groups and one to one.
• You understand diabetes care well, including medication, monitoring and lifestyle support. You also know how the NHS works in primary and secondary care.
• You are happy to travel regulary, including overnight stays, and to do some out of hours support.

It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
