Job description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Camden, London area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.


This special care home provides the very highest care standards to their service users twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.


To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.


Main Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment.
  2. Lead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person-centred care and support in a way which promotes dignity, privacy, safety, independence, and equality & diversity for everyone living and working in the Service.
  3. Support the Service Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy.
  4. Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
  5. Ensure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionals.
  6. Provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service.
  7. Have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughout the service.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Previous experience as a DM, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse in a nursing home setting.
  2. Previous experience of leading a team.
  3. Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding.
  4. Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
  5. Able to show a can-do attitude always.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of GBP55,141.22 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 37.5 hours a week working Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
