Job summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking an Administrator to support the Nurse Assessor team with high-level administrative tasks and to work alongside the Duty Nurse to ensure timely handling of queries.

The role involves filing, scanning, maintaining office IT systems, and managing stock via ORACLE, as well as handling PARIS and Civica Scheduling changes and updating rostering data.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Welsh and/or English language skills desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administration support to the Nurse Assessor team.
  • Assist with management of the PARIS system and Civica Scheduling system changes.
  • Maintain office IT systems, filing, scanning and document management.
  • Coordinate statistics and update staff personnel files as requested.
  • Maintain electronic rostering and manage bank shifts where required.
  • Support retrospective case load as directed by the Nurse Assessor team leader.

Job description

We are looking for an Administrator to work as part of the Nurse Assessor team, to provide high level administration, support work with the retrospective CHC team, work alongside the Duty Nurse to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner, be responsible for day to day filing, answering emails, maintaining office IT systems., Assisting with management of the PARIS system to ensure all new referrals and changes to current referrals are managed and details added appropriately to the Civica Scheduling system. To work alongside the Nurse Assessor team to ensure patient enquires are dealt with and the daily work list is kept up to date. Responsible for day to day office duties such as filing, scanning, maintaining office IT systems and ordering of stock via the ORACLE system. Co-ordinate and manage statistics as requested by Nurse assessor team leader, ensuring UHB time-scales are adhered to and information is accurate and up to date. Assist with maintaining and updating staff personnel files. Maintaining and updating our electronic rostering system with staff shifts and adding in extra Bank shifts where required. Support with the retrospective case load as required and directed by the Nurse assessor team leader., The post holder will need to be highly motivated and possess good communication skills, plus be able to demonstrate excellent typing and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate would benefit from having previous experience of working in a busy and challenging office environment. The post holder will be supported to thrive in a busy, varied and professional working environment., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply., Essential
